The Sencor SWS outdoor wireless sensor is designed for SWS 9898, SWS 9770 and SWS 12500 weather stations. The sensor is able to communicate with the station at a distance of 150 meters in open space without electromagnetic interference. Power is provided by 2 AA batteries, which are not included. Measurements are taken at 60 second intervals. The sensor operates at 868 MHz and up to 7 channels can be used. It is suitable for both the cold winter months and the sultry summer days. It can handle temperatures from -40 to +60°C. It is not affected by any humidity, which it measures from 1 to 99%.
