Stellar optical performance

The lens uses entirely new optical design and premium components based on thorough testing . This brings a new era of artistic rendering without the "cuts" caused by the optical assembly. The lens therefore contains 2 FLD (fluorite) elements and two special glass FLD lenses, due to which it boasts a high level of anomalous particle suppression and a high refractive index to achieve the highest performance class.

It also features a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) focusing drive. It has a high torque, which helps to accelerate faster auto focus. Via USB Sigma (not included), you can upgrade the firmware, but also adjust the focus settings or positions.
