SONOFF Dongle Plus CC2674P10 Zigbee/Thread USB Dongle Dongle-PP10

SONOFF Dongle Plus CC2674P10 Zigbee/Thread USB Dongle Dongle-PP10
The SONOFF Dongle Plus CC2674P10 is a USB adapter for creating and managing a Zigbee or Thread network in open smart home platforms. It uses a powerful TI CC2674P10 chip with an Arm Cortex-M33 processor, 1,024kB of Flash and 256kB of RAM. It supports Zigbee and Thread protocols and works with platforms such as Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT or OpenThread Border Router (OTBR). By changing the firmware, the adapter can be used as a Zigbee coordinator, Zigbee router or Thread RCP and adapted to a specific smart home solution.

CC2674P10 – Higher Performance for Your Smart Home
At the heart of the SONOFF Dongle-PP10 adapter is a TI CC2674P10 chip equipped with a 48MHz Arm Cortex-M33 processor. It has 1,024kB of Flash memory and 256kB of RAM. The higher computing power and larger memory provide enough of a buffer for working with multiple Zigbee sensors, switches and other smart home elements. This makes the adapter suitable for larger installations using open automation platforms.
Zigbee or Thread, Depending on Your Chosen Firmware
The Dongle-PP10 supports both Zigbee and Thread, and its network role can be changed by uploading the corresponding firmware. In its basic form, it is ready to be a Zigbee coordinator with a Z-Stack protocol stack. Using the SONOFF Dongle Flasher, you can also configure it as a Zigbee router or Thread RCP. In Thread RCP mode, it works with a Thread Border Router and allows you to connect devices using Matter over Thread.
Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and OTBR
The USB dongle can be used with popular open-source smart home solutions. It supports Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT and OpenThread Border Router, so you can manage your connected devices locally without relying on a cloud service. The compatibility of specific Zigbee devices may vary depending on the automation platform used.
Powerful Wireless Transmission
The adapter communicates in the 2.4GHz band according to the IEEE 802.15.4 standard and supports Zigbee 3.0. The maximum transmission power is 20dBm. In an open space with a direct line of sight, the wireless range can reach up to 200 metres. The external high-gain antenna helps to extend coverage and improve communication conditions in your home Zigbee or Thread network.
1m USB Extension Cable for Better Placement
A 1-metre USB extension cable is included. It allows you to place the wireless adapter further away from the computer, server or other device it is connected to. A greater distance from the USB port helps to reduce electromagnetic interference that could negatively affect wireless communication. At the same time, you get more freedom when finding the optimal position for the adapter and antenna.
Local Smart Home without Cloud Dependency
In conjunction with a compatible platform, the SONOFF Dongle-PP10 can handle device communication directly on the local network. Automation and control do not have to be dependent on an external cloud service, which provides a fast response and allows you to keep most of the communication within your home infrastructure.
