Big entertainment almost anywhere
The TCL PlayCube is designed to adapt easily to different usage scenarios. It's perfect for the living room, the garden, or gaming on a big screen, so you can create your own cinema both indoors and out. Its practical, portable design makes it the ideal projector for moments when you don't want to be tied to one fixed location.
An image that impresses with its clarity and colour
The TCL PlayCube projector focuses on image quality. It excels in Visual Perfection, Defined—a combination of high brightness, richer colours, and more detailed rendering that helps create a pleasant and impressive visual experience when watching films, series, and other content.
750 ISO lumens for more environments
A brightness of 750 ISO lumens helps ensure a clear and easily readable image in various situations. This makes the TCL PlayCube suitable not only for evening viewing at home but also for other uses indoors or outdoors, where you'll appreciate better visibility and more vibrant projection.
TCL Immersicolour Technology for more natural image reproduction
TCL Immersicolour technology focuses on more accurate image rendering, higher contrast, and more natural colour reproduction. The result is an image with greater depth and a more pleasing character that looks more natural and supports comfortable viewing, even during longer sessions.
124% REC.709 for more vibrant and lifelike colours
The TCL PlayCube covers 124% of the REC.709 colour space, contributing to more vibrant and faithful colour reproduction. The image can appear richer and more realistic, whether you're watching films, series, or other visually rich scenes.
Osram 3-colour LED for a more pleasant light display
The projector uses the latest generation Osram 3-colour LED light source, which mimics the more natural spectrum of daylight. This results in a softer, speckle-free image that is easier on the eyes and better suited for extended viewing.
TI 0.33" DMD chip for finer details
The image is handled by a TI 0.33" DMD chip, which delivers 103% more pixels compared to 0.23" chips. This has a positive effect on image sharpness and detail rendering, making the projection look cleaner and more precise.
Native Full HD and 4K signal support
TCL PlayCube offers a native resolution of 1920×1080 and also supports a 4K input signal. In practice, this means a sharp Full HD image with good detail and wider compatibility when connecting external content sources.
Design inspired by the Rubik's Cube
One of the most distinctive features of the TCL PlayCube projector is its original design, which TCL compares to a Rubik's Cube. The compact construction looks playful, modern, and highly practical, so the projector fits well into any home and is easy to take with you.
Rotates up to 90° for convenient projection
TCL PlayCube can rotate up to 90°, so you can easily set the perfect projection angle depending on where you want to watch. This allows you to adapt the projection to different positions and situations without the hassle of an external stand or mount.
Built-in battery for up to 3 hours of cable-free fun
A major advantage of the projector is its built-in 66Wh battery, which provides up to 3 hours of wireless operation. A 30-minute charge can add another hour of playback, increasing convenience for use at home and outdoors.
Image from 30" to 150"
The projector allows you to adjust the size of the projected area from 30" to 150", so it can easily adapt to a small bedroom, living room, or outdoor screening. This means you can create a big screen almost anywhere you want to watch your favourite content.
Ultra-compact dimensions for easy portability
With dimensions of 14.98×9.66×9.66cm, the TCL PlayCube is a truly compact device that fits easily into smaller spaces, a backpack, or travel gear. This makes it ideal for users who want to move their projector around easily and have it ready on the go.
TOF-Active Guard helps protect your eyes
The projector uses TOF-Active Guard, which reacts to movement around the light cone using real-time TOF detection. If someone passes close to the projection, the device automatically adjusts the light beam to limit direct eye exposure. This is especially useful in homes with children or pets.
Auto focus and keystone correction
Auto focus and automatic keystone correction help to quickly create a clear and correctly aligned image. TCL PlayCube simplifies the setup process every time you move it or change its projection position, reducing the need for tedious manual adjustments.
Obstacle avoidance and auto screen alignment
The projector can automatically detect obstacles and adjust the position of the projected area. It also helps to align the image with the projection screen or wall, which simplifies the overall setup and contributes to more convenient use in a typical household.
Pre-installed Google TV
TCL PlayCube comes with Google TV pre-installed, providing continuous updates, content recommendations, and an extensive range of apps for entertainment and work. This means it functions as a fully-fledged smart hub without the need to purchase an external system.
Voice control via Google Assistant
With Google Assistant, you can search for titles, launch apps, or control your compatible smart home using your voice. This makes interacting with the projector faster, more convenient, and more natural.
Google Cast for easy sharing from your phone
The projector supports Google Cast, so you can easily cast films, photos, videos, and other content from your phone or tablet directly onto the large projection screen. This expands its uses for entertainment and sharing content with others.
Netflix Certified
TCL PlayCube is Netflix Certified, so it's ready for convenient streaming of Netflix content without complex workarounds or the need for additional devices.
Dolby Digital Plus for more impressive sound
The audio is supported by Dolby Digital Plus, which is designed to deliver a richer spatial impression, greater clarity, and better sound depth. The result is a more intense and pleasant audio experience when watching films and other content.
Four sound modes based on content
The projector lets you switch between four tuned sound modes for films, music, sport, and custom settings. This makes it easier to tailor the sound to what you are currently watching or listening to.
Quiet operation around 26dB
The TCL PlayCube operates at around 26dB, so you won't be disturbed by annoying fan noise while watching. You'll appreciate this especially during evening screenings, in smaller rooms, or when watching quieter scenes.
Heat pipe system for more efficient cooling
The cooling uses a heat pipe system made of copper alloy for even temperature distribution. The TCL PlayCube projector offers 50% better heat dissipation than competing solutions of the same size, contributing to a more stable and quieter operation.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
Native resolution determines the actual number of physical pixels on the projector's display chip and defines the real sharpness of the image, whereas maximum resolution only indicates the highest signal the projector can receive and convert (downscale) to its native resolution. For a high-quality picture, the native resolution is always the key factor to consider.Specifications
