Revitalise Textiles with Creative Techniques
With KREUL JAVANA dye, you can decorate textiles in various ways. Try the Japanese technique of shibori, where patterns are created by tying and folding the fabric, or wax batik, where wax is used to cover areas that should remain undyed. Another option is the dip-dye technique, where the fabric is gradually dipped into the dye to create smooth colour transitions. This allows you to create original pieces with bold shades from ordinary T-shirts, bags or pillowcases.
Easy to Use and Dispense
Dyeing takes place in hot water at a temperature of 50°C to 95°C, either in a bucket or in a pot on the hob. A minimum temperature of 50°C is suitable, for example, for wax batik. The contents of the entire 70g bottle are enough for an intense shade on 200g of textile. If you want to achieve a medium-saturated shade, you can dye up to 400g of fabric. The powder is packaged in a resealable bottle, which not only makes precise dispensing easier, but also makes it simple to store any unused quantity.
Caring for Dyed Textiles and Colour Fastness
Dyed textiles are not boil-proof. To increase colour fastness and wash resistance, the manufacturer recommends using KREUL fixative for tie-dye colours. After dyeing and fixing, always wash textiles separately at a maximum temperature of 40°C to maintain their appearance and prevent the colour from bleeding onto other laundry. With proper care, you can ensure that your original creations will bring you joy for a long time.
