Dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Transmission Technology

Four external antennas provide stable signal propagation, and their performance is further enhanced by Beamforming technology, which concentrates the signal towards connected devices, effectively extending the network's reach to less accessible areas. The router supports EasyMesh technology, which serves to create a unified and flexible mesh network by connecting with other compatible units. This solution eliminates dead spots and creates seamless coverage in homes up to three bedrooms. The network capacity can handle a medium number of concurrently connected devices.
Advanced Security and Centralised Management
To protect wireless communication, the gigabit router uses the WPA3 encryption protocol, which provides more robust password and network protection against external attacks. At the same time, the device maintains backward compatibility with the older WPA and WPA2 standards. An SPI firewall and access control features are included. Network administrators can create a separate guest network on both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, isolating visitors from the main network. Setup and management is handled by the TP-Link Tether mobile app or web interface. The cloud service provides remote control and automatic firmware updates (OTA).
Operating Modes
The TP-Link Archer A64 WiFi router offers flexible usage options. It works in two basic operating modes that allow you to adapt its role in the network. In Router mode, it functions as the central point of the network. In Access Point mode, it can be connected to an existing wired network to extend it with a wireless connection.
Connection Options
For a fast wired connection, the router includes full gigabit ports. Specifically, there is one gigabit WAN port for internet access and four gigabit LAN ports for wired connection of end devices such as computers, game consoles or smart TVs.
