Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The wireless access point operates in two frequency bands with support for the 802.11ax standard. In the 2.4GHz band, it provides transfer speeds of up to 574Mbps. Technologies like 2×2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA increase communication efficiency with multiple client devices simultaneously. The Beamforming feature also focuses the wireless signal directly towards connected receivers for a more stable connection.
Mesh technology and coverage
The device supports Omada Mesh technology, which simplifies wireless connections between access points without the need for additional cables. An integrated seamless roaming feature keeps users connected to a strong signal even when moving around. The system can cover an area of up to 140m² and can handle over 120 concurrently connected client devices under a single network name.
Network security
Data security is ensured by modern WPA3-Personal and WPA3-Enterprise encryption standards, which complement older WPA2 versions. VLAN divides network traffic into separate segments, and an isolated Guest Zone is available for visitors. Administrators have access to tools for MAC address filtering, Rogue AP detection, and support for 802.1x protocol authentication.
Port selection
The device's physical interface includes one SC/APC type GPON optical port for a direct connection to a fibre optic network with speeds of up to 2.488Gbps for download and 1.244Gbps for upload. The device also offers one FXS port for voice services. For local wired connections, four gigabit Ethernet ports are available with support for 10/100/1000Mbps speeds, enabling stable connection of end devices.
