To use the product's smart features, you need to add the device to the manufacturer's app. For more information about the application (name, supported OS, supported languages) and how to add a device to the application, please refer to the product manual.
Adjust the sensor sensitivity as needed
The sensor can detect motion up to 7 meters away in a 120° field of view. TP-Link Tapo T100 offers a total of three sensitivity levels to easily customize detection and minimize false triggers. You can also adjust the viewing angle very easily thanks to the tilt option.
TP-Link Tapo T100 turns on more than just lights
The TP-Link Tapo T100 motion sensor can trigger an alarm and send an alert to your mobile phone when motion is detected. Just pair it with the Tapo hub (sold separately). Thanks to the TP-Link Tapo T100 motion sensor, the lights automatically turn on when you walk by. That way you won't have to flick the switch or say anything.
Different installation options
The TP-Link Tapo T100 motion sensor is powered by a single CR2450 battery that promises to last over two years (with 50 runs per day). You can place the sensor on a shelf, table or stick it to the wall or ceiling with the supplied accessories. A magnetic holder is also available for even more flexibility.
Apps for easy setup
Install the Tapo app on your mobile phone and create a safe and comfortable living space. Matter standard support with Tapo H100 hub from hub firmware 1.5.5 (January 2024). If the product uses older firmware, you can upgrade it using Tapo. The Matter pairing code is then available in the Tapo app. Matter brings support for Amazon Alexa, Google Home and SmartThings. In the Tapo mobile app, you can easily automate all your devices that you want to activate with motion. This not only turns on the lights when you enter the room, but also switches on e.g. fan.

The device operates exclusively in the specified Sub-1G band. Different regions support different frequency bands. Make sure that the devices or hubs you intend to use are compatible with the same Sub-1G band.
