Ubiquiti airMax Horn 90°

Ubiquiti airMax Horn 90°
The Ubiquiti airMax Horn 90° WiFi antenna transmits a wireless signal in outdoor environments. It operates in the 5.15 to 5.85GHz frequency band with both horizontal and vertical beamwidths of 90°. The design uses both symmetrical and asymmetrical radiation patterns to suppress unwanted side radiation and minimise back interference in locations with a high concentration of transmitters. The antenna offers 13dBi gain and achieves a maximum VSWR of 2:1, which ensures stable performance of the entire wireless link.

Directional WiFi antenna for outdoor use and modular design
This directional outdoor antenna operates in the 5GHz frequency band and has a gain of 13dBi. The integrated dual-linear polarisation serves to transmit data in both planes simultaneously without the signals interfering with each other. The radiation pattern in the vertical plane has a value of 45°. The horizontal and vertical beamwidths are both 90°. These parameters help to precisely direct the signal to the desired area. The modular concept with interchangeable antenna elements allows you to change the beamwidth according to the specific conditions at the installation site. Users can change the radiation patterns from 30° to 90° using a release button for quick replacement. The system supports symmetrical antennas with 30° and 45° patterns, as well as asymmetrical variants with 60° and 90° patterns. This variability simplifies configuration adjustments directly on the mast and improves beam shaping.
Compatibility
The product is compatible with airFiber LTU AF-LTU, IsoStation IS-5AC, IsoStation IS-M5 and PrismStation PS-5AC radio units. Connecting the antenna to these transmitters creates a stable access point or client station in both Point-to-MultiPoint and Point-to-Point wireless networks. For example, a PrismStation 5AC with this antenna serves as an access point to communicate with IsoStation 5AC client stations. For a Point-to-Point link, an IsoStation 5AC unit is used on both sides.
Weather resistance and side lobe suppression
The mechanical construction of the antenna body withstands wind speeds of up to 200km/h. At this wind speed, the load on the structure is 46N. The total weight of the device is 0.92kg, with external dimensions of 186.8×152.1×113mm. These mechanical properties help maintain a stable directional link even during very adverse weather, without the risk of damage or deviation from the optimal direction. The asymmetrical 90° version has naturally attenuated side lobes and very low back radiation. The design exhibits a high level of cross-polarisation isolation of 17dBi, which limits mutual interference from adjacent transmitters. These features increase performance in co-location and make it easier to install a larger number of sector antennas on a single shared mast. The antenna offers a high front-to-back ratio for clean signal transmission.
