The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-PTZ-W Industrial IP camera provides detailed surveillance in 3840×2160px resolution at 30 FPS. The varifocal lens provides a horizontal viewing angle of 64° to 3° depending on the current zoom setting. For surveillance in poor light conditions, it uses adaptive infrared night vision with a range of up to 100m. The integrated processor with artificial intelligence recognises people, vehicles, animals, faces and number plates. It's powered via the PoE++ standard, simplifying installation with a single cable. The camera integrates a built-in microphone that captures ambient sounds, adding an audio track to the video recording. This gives users a complete overview of what's happening in the monitored area. It supports direct recording of audio accompaniment to the saved video. In the event of a security breach or detection of unusual activity, it can trigger a built-in audio alarm.

The video stream uses the efficient H.264 video compression format to reduce data flow.
Night vision and detection
The Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-PTZ-W Industrial IP camera's integrated adaptive infrared illumination automatically adjusts the beam intensity, illuminating the area up to a distance of 100m. A powerful processor with artificial intelligence performs advanced image analysis directly on the device. The system automatically detects motion, people, vehicles and animals, while also managing precise face and car number plate recognition. The Motion Detection 2.0 feature and automatic motion tracking keep the tracked object in the centre of the frame. When an event is recorded, the system immediately sends mobile notifications and can trigger an audible alarm.
Recording storage
For storing captured data, there is a MicroSDXC memory card slot supporting capacities up to 256GB. In addition to local storage, general cloud storage can also be used for secure backup off-device. Users of the Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-PTZ-W Industrial IP camera can set different recording modes as needed, including continuous all-day recording. Recording triggered exclusively by motion detection or by defining specific activity zones is also available.

The optical system uses a powerful 22× optical zoom for monitoring distant details. The design is suitable for mounting on a wall, pole or ceiling using the supplied accessories.

The network connection for the Ubiquiti UniFi Protect UVC-AI-PTZ-W IP camera is handled by a reliable Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 port, which supports power via the PoE++ standard.
