The Velbon SHERPA 300 has an easy-slide centre column that is splittable allowing you to achieve a shorter working height. The centre rod has a tripod screw (1") on both sides to allow the head to be positioned between the legs or to act as a hook attachment, for example, to hang a backpack, etc...
