The greatest advantage is gained by damaging the enemy ship before individual close-quarters combat.
Defeat the Legendary Kraken
You start as a former member of a cult that worships the deep and its tentacles. You free several crew members from prison, and your journey to stop the legendary Kraken can begin. However, you must first expand your ranks and gain experience. This is not easy, as both the Kraken and the cult members are constantly on your tail.
Naval Battles
Naturally, you won't just be fighting cult members and the Kraken in the game. All combat encounters share a sophisticated combat mechanic. It's not just about aiming your cannons correctly and choosing evasive manoeuvres; upon closer contact, individual combat ensues, and you'll have to give battle orders to all your crew members.
Individual Abilities
During individual duels, you must consider the current character's specialisation. Each member of your crew has a different specialisation, meaning it is sometimes more advantageous for them to attack from as far away as possible, and at other times, the complete opposite.
Playing through the game will teach you better strategic thinking and develop your ability to predict your opponent's moves.
Not only the Kraken and cult members, but also the sea itself can be your merciless enemy.
