Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The device supports the 802.11be standard and operates in dual-band, letting you choose the frequency combination that suits your current needs. The system works in a 2.4GHz + 5GHz or 2.4GHz + 6GHz configuration, which reduces interference in congested environments. The total wireless speed reaches up to 6400Mbps thanks to the wide 320MHz channel and Multi-Link Operation technology. MU-MIMO 2×2 technology coordinates transmissions to multiple endpoints simultaneously. The Hybrid QoS feature effectively prioritises network requests, preventing delays during intensive internet use.
Network coverage and security
This device supports Wi-Fi Mesh technology to create a unified network with a single name throughout the property. Mobile devices automatically switch to the strongest node without interrupting downloads or calls. The Intel Killer Prioritisation Engine detects gaming data and prioritises it over regular traffic. Home devices are protected directly at the router level by the integrated Trend Micro Home Network Security system. This security suite actively prevents internet attacks and monitors both outgoing and incoming data traffic. For quick client connection without needing to enter a password, there's a physical button on the body of the device. FOTA automatic firmware updates keep the system constantly secure against the latest threats without requiring manual user intervention.
Connectivity options
The wired interface offers a high-speed port for connecting to your internet provider and separate ports for end devices. The main WAN port supports speeds of up to 2.5Gbps, making it suitable for fibre optic connections. The local network is served by three gigabit ports for stable wired connections to computers, TVs, or gaming consoles. Power is supplied via an external mains adapter.
