The AKKO MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon is compatible with third-party magnetic switches
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon keyboard is compatible with five types of third-party magnetic switches, so you can customise the key behaviour to your exact needs. Using the Akko Driver software, you can easily select a suitable switch, perform a calibration, and even combine them on different keys. You can experiment with different switch types to create a unique feel for both typing and gaming.
Advanced magnetic switch for gamers and professionals
The AKKO MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon gaming keyboard is equipped with Akko Magnetic Yellow switches, a linear magnetic switch that uses the Hall effect principle for an extremely fast and precise response. With an adjustable actuation point ranging from 0.1 to 3.4mm, you can tailor each keystroke to your exact needs, whether for gaming or typing. You can count on smooth operation, high precision and long life, ideal for demanding gamers and professional users.
Powerful ARM Cortex-M4 processor ensures instant response
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon keyboard is equipped with a powerful ARM Cortex-M4 processor, which ensures fast and accurate processing of every keystroke with low power consumption. Thanks to automatic calibration in the range of -20°C to 80°C, you can rely on stable performance even in more demanding conditions. The processor ensures instant response and high accuracy, making both gaming and typing consistently smooth and lag-free.
The AKKO MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon has durable keycaps with a Cherry profile
The AKKO keyboard is fitted with high-quality Cherry-profile PBT keycaps, which are manufactured using dye-sublimation technology. This process ensures that the legends are extremely resistant to wear and fading, so the keycaps retain their appearance even with intensive daily use. The PBT material gives the keycaps a slightly matte surface that is pleasant to the touch and resistant to fingerprints. The Cherry profile provides more ergonomic and comfortable typing, which you will appreciate during long gaming sessions and work.
The AKKO gaming keyboard offers ultra-precise actuation distance adjustment
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon features extremely precise Full Range Rapid Trigger technology with adjustment in 0.01mm increments. You can fine-tune the actuation distance of each key to achieve a perfectly fast response and higher accuracy. The Full Range Rapid Trigger function is ideal for competitive gaming, where every millisecond counts, but it will also be appreciated by demanding users who want absolute control over their typing or gaming style.
Ultra-fast response for gamers and professionals
Thanks to its 8000Hz polling rate, every key responds instantly and without delay, which you'll appreciate for both gaming and work. Every keystroke is processed with maximum precision, ensuring you always have smooth, lag-free control.
Dynamic ARGB lighting for the perfect atmosphere
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon keyboard offers advanced ARGB backlighting with individually controllable LEDs that provide perfectly smooth and flicker-free lighting effects. Thanks to the integration of an Alpha channel and a 500Hz refresh rate, you can enjoy even richer dynamic effects and colour transitions that not only enhance the gaming atmosphere but also reduce visual fatigue during long use.
The RT stabiliser ensures absolute stability during gameplay
The RT Stabiliser mode ensures maximum stability even when using the extreme precision of the Rapid Trigger function at the 0.01mm level. Magnetic switches can be sensitive to unwanted finger movements or slight hand tremors, which could disrupt the gaming experience. With the RT Stabiliser, however, the AKKO keyboard eliminates these unwanted inputs and maintains a clean and reliable response. The function can be easily activated in the Akko Driver software, where you can choose from four levels of filtration to suit your needs.
Demagnetised stabiliser eliminates magnetic interference
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon uses a special demagnetised stabiliser that eliminates magnetic interference, thereby increasing key actuation accuracy. This gives you a consistent and confident feel when typing and gaming, while the optimised stabiliser design ensures long-term reliability.
The AKKO gaming keyboard has a premium chassis with three-colour anodisation
The keyboard case undergoes a sophisticated three-colour anodisation process during manufacturing, which gives it not only a unique look but also practical properties. Thanks to this surface treatment, the AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon is more resistant to scratching, gains greater durability, and has a more pleasant tactile feel during use.
Dampening PORON foam for quiet typing
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon keyboard is equipped with a special PORON foam under the switches, which effectively dampens the noise generated by keystrokes. This gives you a cleaner and more pleasant sound profile, as well as a more comfortable feel when typing and gaming.
Gasket-mounted construction ensures a soft typing feel
The AKKO MOD007v3 HE Year of Dragon keyboard uses a modern gasket-mounted construction that provides a softer and more pleasant typing experience. A special sealing material, such as silicone or neoprene, is inserted between the switch plate and the PCB, creating a so-called "floating" mount for the switches. This makes typing more flexible, better cushioned, and less noisy, which you'll appreciate during long periods of use. The gasket-mount construction also dampens vibrations and ensures the stability of the entire keyboard.
Advanced features for gamers
The AKKO MOD 007 HE Year of Dragon offers complete flexibility, giving you the freedom to create a keyboard that's tailored exactly to your needs. Dynamic Keystroke technology allows a single key to trigger up to four different actions depending on the force and depth of the press – a light touch can activate one function, a deeper press another, and you can even use a two-phase setup when releasing the key. The Toggle Key feature turns a selected key into a switch, letting you either continuously hold a certain function or trigger it repeatedly at high speed. Another great addition for gamers is Mod-Tap, which gives a single key two functions – a short press performs one action, while holding it down performs another.
Premium design with an emphasis on detail
The exclusivity of the entire edition is highlighted by a programmable control knob with a dragon motif, which lets you easily change the volume or backlighting, or assign it to other functions according to your needs. The premium feel is completed by a PVD weight engraved with the Chinese characters for “Year of the Dragon Limited Edition”, which gives the keyboard both stability and the unique look of a collector's item.
