The APC Back-UPS BX 1200VA tower UPS protects connected home and office electronics, such as computers, gaming consoles, and network devices, from damage caused by power outages and voltage instability. It provides an actual power output of 650W and an apparent power of 1200VA. This line-interactive UPS uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) technology, which actively stabilises fluctuating input voltage without needing to switch to the battery. This extends the battery's lifespan and maintains continuous operation for connected devices. The unit also integrates surge protection with an energy absorption of 273 Joules, which prevents damage to sensitive electronics. The cold start function starts the UPS directly from the battery, even without mains power.

Thanks to line-interactive technology with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), it ensures a stable power supply for connected devices and achieves an efficiency of 97.3% at 100% load and 95.2% at 50% load.

Four Type F (Schuko) output sockets are available for connecting appliances, all of which provide both battery backup and surge protection. The features also include data line protection via an RJ-45 connector, which filters voltage spikes on the Ethernet line.
