The Aqara Water Leak Sensor T1 can reliably detect leaking water, protecting your home from potential damage caused by flooding, overflowing containers, washing machine failure, etc. The moment the water level reaches 0.5 mm, the sensor sends you an alert via the Aqara Home app. The Aqara T1 water leak detector is compatible with commonly used voice assistants and ecosystems, making it easy to integrate into a smart home. In cooperation with other smart devices, the sensor can also be used to set up various automated actions and scenarios, such as turning on an alarm or shutting off the water supply in case of flood detection. The Aqara Hub is required for the sensor to function properly and is not included.

Thanks to the Aqara Hub, which provides a wireless connection to other devices, the Aqara T1 sensor can be used to create automated actions, such as triggering an alarm when a water leak is detected, etc. The detector also supports Apple's HomeKit ecosystem, which allows you to manage smart devices in your home using your own Home app. There is also support for the popular voice assistants Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri.

The Water Leak Sensor T1 uses the open wireless communication protocol ZigBee, which connects individual devices in the smart home and plays a key role in the world of the Internet of Things. Through encrypted communication, ZigBee can connect devices from different manufacturers while maintaining their mutual compatibility and convenient control. Plus, with Wireless Software Download (OTA), you get access to new features and updates as soon as they're released.
Durable design in a compact design
The Aqara T1 water leak sensor has an IP67-rated body so you can safely place it in bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms and other wet and dusty areas. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the device can easily fit into very tight spaces, for example on the toilet or next to the dishwasher. Moreover, the elegant white body fits well into any interior. The Aqara Water Leak Sensor is powered by a CR2032 button cell battery that lasts up to two years.
