Reverse airflow design
ARCTIC specifically designed this fan to draw air from the rear, the opposite of standard fans. This solution is ideal when mounting fans in intake positions, such as the bottom or side of the case, where you want to keep the rotor in view. This displays the aesthetically pleasing side with the backlighting, without disrupting the overall look of your build. The fan blades are optimised for this flow direction, maintaining high efficiency even with the reversed airflow.
Quiet operation and speed control
The ARCTIC P14 Pro fan uses a Fluid Dynamic Bearing, which limits friction and vibration to ensure quiet operation. The PWM signal controls a wide speed range from 400 to 2650 RPM. The Zero RPM mode stops the fans completely under low load, below a 5% PWM signal, keeping your build silent. The shape of the blades and frame reduces aerodynamic noise and turbulence, ensuring refined operation even at higher speeds.
High static pressure and efficient cooling
The design, with a gap between the blades and the frame, directs the airflow with fewer losses. This allows the fan to create a focused stream of air and generate a static pressure of up to 5.1mm H₂O. The high static pressure efficiently cools water-cooling radiators or pushes air through dense dust filters, where significant resistance must be overcome. This FDB fan thus maintains powerful cooling even in restrictive conditions, with an airflow of up to 166.5m³/h.
PWM Sharing Technology and A-RGB lighting
PWM Sharing Technology simplifies cable management. Each 140mm ARGB fan's cable has not only a connector but also a socket, which enables you to daisy-chain multiple fans together. You can control all connected fans with a single PWM signal from the motherboard. The lighting is provided by 12 A-RGB LEDs, which you can connect using a standard 3-pin connector. It supports synchronisation with common systems like ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.
