How the yoghurt maker works
The production procedure is very simple, the basic recipe on how to make homemade yogurt in a yogurt maker is as follows:
- For starters, 125 ml of plain or Dutch yoghurt with the farthest possible expiry date will be enough
- Mix the yoghurt either in pasteurised milk or in milk that has been allowed to reach 80°C
- You pour the mixed mixture into individual glasses, put them in the machine and switch it on.
- After 12 hours, it's done. Just chill the yoghurt in the fridge and you can enjoy it.
