ASUS N3150I-C
A mini-ITX motherboard equipped with an integrated quad-core Intel Celeron processor N3150 from the Braswell family clocked at 1.6 GHz. Braswell processors are characterised by their efficiency and therefore hold a TDP rating of just 6W. Motherboards are well suited for use in a computer that will serve as a powerful home media center, or for use by the less demanding user.
Two slots are available for the operational memory. You can insert up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM in Dual-Channel mode. In terms of connectivity, the board is equipped with a very efficient manner. Hard drives connect via SATA III with a speed of 6Gb/s and for external storage, you can take advantage of the high-speed USB 3.0. There is a Gigabit LAN port and expanding PCIe bus. HDMI connectors with a maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels or VGA (D-SUB) help with connecting device displays.
For less experienced users, a great advantage is the presence of the original UEFI BIOS, which can be controlled by mouse and offers many options. So you can simply choose the priority device boot option or rename the SATA ports according to their function. The actual BIOS allows updates by flashdrive from outside the operating system.
The ASUS N3150I-C is compatible with thousands of components such as memory modules, graphic cards or power supplies. You have the freedom to create additional hardware. If you are in the planning stage, you will certainly remember the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) on the manufacturer's website where you can check the compatibility of your selected motherboard components.
