ASUS N3150M-E
The ASUS N3150M-E motherboard in a mATX form factor contains a 1.6GHz integrated Intel Celeron N3150 quad-core processor from the Braswell family. Braswell processors are characterized by their efficiency and therefore the TDP uses only 6W. The motherboard is therefore suitable for use on a computer used as a powerful home multimedia center or used in a less demanding environment.
There are two slots ready to install the memory and you can load up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM in Dual Channel connection mode. In terms of connectivity, the board is very well equipped. Connect hard drives via SATA III at 6 Gbps and use high speed USB 3.0 for external storage. Of course, there is a gigabit LAN port and an expanding PCIe bus. HDMI connectors with maximum resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels or VGA (D-SUB) are used to connect display devices.
For less knowledgeable users, the original UEFI BIOS graphics, which can be controlled by a mouse, also offer a lot of options. You can simply choose to prioritize device booting or rename individual SATA ports, for example, depending on how you use it. The BIOS itself allows updating through the flash disk outside the operating system.
The ASUS N3150M-E is compatible with thousands of components such as memory modules, graphics cards or power supplies. You'll have total freedom in choosing more hardware. If you are in the planning phase, make sure you do not forget the Qualified Vendor List (QVL) on the manufacturer 's website where you can verify the compatibility of your components with the motherboard.
