Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The ZenWifi BT10 model fully utilises the 802.11be standard with a total transfer speed of up to 18Gb/s. Wireless operation takes place across three bands, which eliminates mutual signal interference. The speed in the 2.4GHz band reaches 688Mb/s. Multi-Link Operation and 4096-QAM technologies significantly increase data transmission density and reduce latency during demanding network operations.
Mesh coverage of the ASUS ZenWiFi BT10 system
Smart AiMesh technology links individual nodes into a single, stable network with one name for the entire house. Two units of this system can cover an area of up to 560m², while a single standalone unit reliably covers a space of up to 280m². Intelligent roaming seamlessly switches mobile devices between nodes without interrupting downloads or streaming. Users can easily expand the network if needed by adding any other compatible ASUS routers.
Security and data protection
Data transfer protection is provided by modern WPA2-PSK, WPA2-Enterprise, and WPA3 encryption standards. The integrated AiProtection Pro security system, with technologies from Trend Micro, protects the network from external threats and blocks infected devices. A robust firewall complements a flexible VPN server for secure remote connections. Additionally, the Smart Home Master feature lets you create separate subnets for IoT devices and child profile accounts with parental controls.
Connector options
Physical connection of devices to the internet and local network is handled by high-speed Ethernet ports on the back of the unit. It includes one 10G WAN/LAN port, one dedicated 10G LAN port, and one 1G WAN/LAN port for flexible configuration of a wired backbone network. The high-speed port is used for connecting external drives or a backup mobile 4G/5G modem. The entire system is powered by an external power adapter.
