Choosing a power supply
When choosing a suitable PC power supply, the key parameter, besides the form factor, is its power output. This indicates the maximum number of watts the power supply can continuously provide to the components in the computer. Consistent 1000W power with ATX 3.1 standards
The power supply provides a continuous 1000W output through a single powerful 12V rail, capable of delivering up to 83.3A. The 80 PLUS Platinum certification confirms a high level of efficiency in converting electrical energy. At 50% load, the energy conversion efficiency reaches up to 94%. Less energy is converted into waste heat, which contributes to lower operating temperatures, quieter cooling and reduced electricity consumption. In addition to the 80 PLUS Platinum certification, the power supply also received a Platinum rating. This second, independent verification confirms not only high efficiency but also low noise levels. The power supply reduces electricity consumption and operating temperatures, and its quiet operation is also verified by Cybenetics LAMBDA (A+) testing.
Fully modular cable management
The fully modular cabling system simplifies installation and cable management inside the computer case. You only connect the cables that are essential for your build. Quiet cooling and fan control
Heat dissipation is handled by the Pure Wings 3 fan. Its optimised blade design, rifle bearing, and 4-pole motor ensure quiet operation and a long service life. Even at higher speeds reaching up to 2100RPM, the large fan effectively dissipates heat while maintaining a low noise level, not exceeding 27.2dB(A) at 100% load. To prevent frequent switching between active and passive modes under fluctuating loads, the fan control unit has a delay setting. After a drop in load, the fan continues to spin for another 2 to 5 minutes, preventing constant starting and stopping. This system has a switching delay and contributes to smoother, less intrusive cooling.
Semi-passive mode for silent operation
The power supply operates in a semi-passive Zero RPM cooling mode. This means that at low to medium loads, the fan stops completely and the unit is passively cooled without any mechanical noise. Active cooling only starts once a certain load threshold is exceeded, so during office work the fan switches off completely for totally silent operation. It can handle short-term power spikes of up to double its rated output, maintaining system stability even during demanding operations like gaming or rendering.
Graphics card support and safety protection
The power supply offers a 12V-2x6 connector that powers PCIe 5.1 standard graphics cards and is capable of delivering up to 600W. A connector is also included in the package for easier installation and cleaner cable routing. There are also three standard PCIe 6+2-pin connectors for older GPUs. The 80 Plus certification was created to objectively assess the efficiency of computer power supplies. This gives users a simple and clear way to compare different models.
