more expensive but you won't regret it, it's a picture like wine.
would I buy it again? Yes.
looks really premium
beautiful picture, which is taken care of by oled care, which takes place every 4 hours, then the monitor notifies you and performs a "pixel reset" after this time the screen will turn off for about 3-5 minutes. ( 4 hours are not counted from zero after switching on, but the time from the previous switching on is counted
price
I was waiting for a discount, and despite alza days when other monitors were on sale, this one unfortunately was not on sale for the whole month I was watching it
Total satisfaction. Going from IPS FHD to this display is something incredible. The colours are sharp and deep, the black is really black. The monitor's response cannot be compared to IPS at all, everything is incredibly smooth. As for the biggest concern of poor readability of the text I do not notice this problem at all the text is readable without any problem and eye pain.
Sharp colours
Black is really black
OLED care
Brightness is more than sufficient even for brightly lit rooms
Glossy finish. I was worried about glare, but there's no problem with it.
Image sharpness, no ghosting
Great readability of the text. Even on closer examination I didn't notice any blurriness (Linux and Windows)
MSI OLED Care - very many settings to protect against burn-in. Dimming intensity can be adjusted for all functions or can be completely switched off + 3 years warranty against burning out
Firmware update option via DP
Great viewing angles
Gorgeous HDR and True Black 400, Peak 1000 nits and MSI's own EOTF boost feature
VESA, shoulder-mountable
It flickers a bit at VRR, but that's typical for OLEDs. This happens primarily e.g. in the game menu. I didn't have a problem while playing
Lower overall brightness compared to IPS and miniLED.
Perfect contrast (you can't compare it to IPS, once you try a movie or game in HDR on OLED you won't want anything else, I guarantee it! )
All the benefits of technology (black is really black)
Absolutely minimal response
No ghosting or image defects
Versatile use - work, movies, gaming - everything is a complete satisfaction, works with both PC and PS5 Pro
Possibility to update firmware via DisplayPort, even if the monitor does not have USB
Handy OSD control, joystick can be mapped to what you need for all directions
Option to turn off the LED (I didn't have to re-tape it: )
Font legibility in Windows is great, don't be intimidated by blurry fonts, this was the case with older generation panels
Full VRR and 120Hz functionality on PS5, monitor supports HDMI 2.1
A price that is not exorbitant and definitely adequate
Solid mechanical design, the stand is solid and does not hang on the table unlike the leg design
Probably nothing, at most a general disadvantage of the technology, but burning out is hopefully not a threat, OLED care takes care of the protection, which fortunately is not very distracting (sometimes slightly - very slightly, you practically don't even notice it! - shifts the image). but it's a trifle and it's DEFINITELY worth the pros, I don't want to go back to IPS/LCD/LED, the difference is extreme
I am happy with my choice of monitor. Excellent image. Pixel recovery takes about 5 minutes and I think that's great.
