You NEED a DisplayPort+cable to use 2K res! Don't try HDMI, it will just be painful, or you have to stick with low refresh rate. I bought this instead of a 4K display, and I don't regret it. Games support this resolution and high-end cards have just enough VRAM and processing power to render games on really good graphics settings in 2K, while they might struggle with 4K.

32" is a small TV, keep that in mind
maximum height could be taller
