I needed to hide the extension cord and the cables coming out of it. However, the solution of this product is deficient in this respect. The product is made of a good and flexible plastic, so it did not break even during the demanding maniupulation during sticking and peeling with double-sided tape. The basic problem is the whole processing of the lid. The fact that there is a logo on the lid that kind of ruins the impression of an otherwise "premium" design product could somehow be passed over. A bulge with a hole cut in it is pretty shitty, though. The gap is quite narrow even in the widened areas. So not every connector can be threaded through. So I had to run all the cables through the sides and the gap there is completely useless. In addition, I could not close the box because of the recess, because one socket in the extension inside was too high and the recess blocked the closing, although otherwise there would have been room and I had to solve it through a fork to the side. I bought used for 230 CZK. Still, it seems like a lot of money for a purely plastic product. Given the impracticality, I would probably look for other boxes in the Alza offer than this one.

I don't know where the comrades from the GDR made a mistake, but once you put the extension cord and adapters with cables into the box, it can't be closed. Then the whole box becomes meaningless. The only positive thing about it is that it makes the lid, on which the Alza power is, completely useless.

I admit that I didn't check the size of the box according to the description, it didn't occur to me that alza would sell something that is completely unfit for purpose. With the extension, the chargers don't fit in there so that the lid can be snapped on. Or I have substandard sized chargers 🤷🏻♀️ for me totally not fit for purpose and am returning.
