I ordered 2x with the same disappointment. The first kindle scribe stylus wrote already "above" the display, ie without touch, so you could not write anything, because behind each takem smudge. The second new piece, which I had to order again because the complaint was resolved by alza with a refund, unfortunately had exactly the same problem. Not a single replacement tip in the package solved the problem. Totally dysfunctional and defective product, as Amazon obviously knows from online discussions. Too bad, I was really hoping it would be good. So the result is just paying for shipping and I have nothing.

this one has no fault, I had one of the first kindles but the ocean washed it away in the spring, well, I have it, it is a bit problematic because it only moves when I plug it into my ntb so why not go with the progress of that.
