I was buying because of the image transfer from the tablet to the TV but not only did the support advised me wrong and in the end it did not even work but I found out that it is not a fault in the cable but in the connector of the tablet and that it does not support image transfer. The problem is more in customer support and purchasing assistant
I use it to connect the USB-C output of a laptop with an HDMI cable to an older monitor with a reduction to DVI. (A similar DisplayPort cable connection did not work. )
