The headphones try to emphasize the bass and treble, they do it well and don't destroy the mids like a lot of similar headphones. I had Creative Aurvana live before them which were great and with better clarity and midrange and I was afraid of wireless. No need, these are awesome too.

I was impressed with the Creative ZEN Hybrid SXFI headphones thanks to the combination of Super X-Fi technology, good noise cancellation and excellent battery life. Compared to the previous headset (Razer Kraken), the sound quality is at a much higher level. The difference is really big. The bass is very crisp and very pleasant to listen to, not disturbing the mid and high range. A bit missing top tones (but nothing that would bother - default settings) So far everything in default without EQ and SFXI. I don't use SFXI yet (better without for music). You must use a cable (stereo jack) for games. I do not rate the endurance - a short time. If they had earcups the size of the Razers Kraken, they would be flawless for me. Microphone tested briefly, good quality for calls. I am satisfied and at this price the quality is above standard.
