I wanted a silent UPS that could handle more powerful PCs. The manufacturer states that it is quiet in normal operation and only runs the fan when running off battery or overvoltage. Unfortunately, the fan actually starts when the power consumption increases above 300W and immediately, and it is quite loud. So the result is that the moment I start doing something more demanding, the fan in the UPS alternates on and off. Totally unusable for my purpose (quiet UPS) and I am returning the UPS after a few hours of operation and ordering a weaker 1200VA model that (supposedly) has no fan at all. Otherwise, I have no objections to it.
