The only good thing about this machine is the exhaust ( to which it was probably too expensive to put a stupid muffler - the noise from the exhaust right after starting is enormous)and the sensible patent of the handle on the lid is worth praising. No further thought was given. Škoda.

I don't understand why the "welding" function can't do exactly that - just weld. Why the suction has to be run as well, I don't understand the designers. It will make it impossible to even use a basic thing like pull the foil off the roll from the tray, weld the end. Then one could also use a "cutter" and be ready. Instead, the foil will be stuffed through the stops into the suction area, damaging it. Just stupid.
The stated "power" in watts is probably the sum of the two heating tapes (in my case only one worked anyway) because the weld is very bad with the stronger foil even with repeated attempts. Blades from Lid* for 6 cents weld about 2 seconds longer but really well.
