I tested how long the hot water would last: approx. 95°C, 0.5 litre, left outside for 12h at 4°C. The temperature was then 47°C. For me a cool, pleasantly warm drink.
Very practical bottle, you can drink from it without unscrewing the cap (cold) or a practical cup from the cap on a short thread. I'm planning a second one for coffee, because coffee makes the thermos smell, and then the tea is gross and you have to rinse it out with baking soda. For me, I can recommend it. I guess the only thing I can see as a downside is the closing mechanism, a bit of a distrust-inducing, I won't lie.
