I bought the card for my computer, which I use in conjunction with a cycle trainer (Zwift, Rouvy,. ) and in which I had until recently a card with a Nvidia GTX750Ti chip with 2GB DDR5. For the purpose, the RTX 3050 with 6GB DDR6 is redundant. It's just that it's a strange time and you can't really buy a reasonable alternative for a given use. The GPU integrated in the processor is a "polished wretch". Then you can get a GT1030 with 2GB DDR4. The latter is about 10 years more modern than the GTX750Ti, but on paper and in benchmarks the cards are similar. And then it's RTX3050's turn. So to sum up. I have no idea how good this card is for some of the more demanding games, but as a GTX750Ti replacement for the purpose I described, it's great. You can see the difference at a glance and as a bonus, the new card doesn't need additional power and the fans usually don't even spin up. So I suppose it has less consumption.
