The only drawback is the noisy fans at start-up. And also the wrong fan shutdown settings. At rest without much load in a ventilated case, the GPU holds 43 - 47°C with the fans off, but the manufacturer's limit for switching on is about 45°C, so they are constantly switching on and off = noise.
