I've grown to love the tank printer, it prints incredibly cheap (even compared to laser printers), doesn't have to keep changing and throwing away cartridges. The first page takes quite a long time, but after that it prints very quickly. What's terrible about it is the display and control buttons. Completely unintuitive, they only show a few symbols that you have to decipher in the manual, and some of them are not described there anyway. I've had an exclamation point flashing on my screen with some kind of error since I got it, and I haven't figured out how to figure out what's wrong. Everything works, so I don't worry about it. But setting something up with those controls is purgatory. The control is like on a 30-year-old device, while nowadays a completely simple touch screen, from which one could learn something and enter something via it, would mean maybe 20 CZK extra production costs and absolutely incomparable user comfort. Unfortunately, all tank printers have similar controls.

I was tempted by this model' s automatic duplex and borderless printing. The first defect that came to mind is that it cannot print on A5. Paper always crumpled in the bowels. I passed on that and preferred to print on A4 with a subsequent cut (complaint = a month of waiting). Later, it started to print duplex poorly, the other side printed crookedly even after comparing the print head (print and scan). I solved this with manual " duplex". The moment it stopped printing in black (a container full in a tube without color) I ran out of patience and sent the printer for a claim. 9 days left today and still no information. And I didn' t even mention spontaneous sporadic shutdown (it wasn' t a power saving mode), or spontaneous reset in the middle of printing. All this with about 400 pages per month and a half of use.
