It cools the rizen 9 9900X3D fine so far I haven't got above 53 C but that's probably the reason for the open case I have older 24 years it's such a hidden menace but I can't close it as alza lists the wrong height of the cooler which is about 1,5cm bigger I'll have to modify the casing cutout!

Really noisy under full load. For processors above 100W TDP, the almost 2x more expensive Noctua DH-15 or Waterman will be really more suitable. You can't cram that into just any case, so in the end, silent cooling is quite expensive.
