I guess the capacity is deliberately not indicated as in other rice cookers, because the container can hold a maximum of 2 scoops of rice, which is a portion for 1-2 people. The soup program is almost comical. The container is dishwasher safe, but if you put the inside of the lid in there, it will get ruined right away. The rice is cooked. Even the cheapest rice cooker for 4 hundred with a lid is 100 times better
The rice cooker has adjustable programs for different types of rice, so I don' t have to worry about messing something up. Just a great helper.
