Review after 4 years: the mouse is great, for me it's a fully-featured and better-looking replacement for the original G502. Everything still works.
Compared to most mice, this one has a few extra buttons, the thumb button in particular is great - and if you keep clicking it by accident, there's a replacement part included in the box - the button can be swapped for a non-clickable thumb rest, effectively removing it.
However, the rubber material on the sides of the mouse started to peel off after a couple of years (2, maybe 3). It's more or less a cosmetic defect, but it bothers me that something is constantly crumbling under my thumb.
The second thing is that after buying it, I realised that the "Plus" version with the RGB LED is actually completely useless for me, the LED just drains the battery for no reason, and it can't be turned off completely (it can be turned off most of the time, but for example, the LED lights up when turning the computer on/off), so next time I'm buying the Lightspeed version. The RGB isn't worth the price difference. However, that's a matter of personal preference.

Worst mouse I've ever had. Constant problems with G HUB updating, where it repeatedly refuses to start and complete updates. So your mouse will stop working until you get the update right. It may look nice, but the rubber coating wears off over time and it doesn't look nice at all. You can tell even by feel, where it can bother you over time. The double-click doesn't work as it should. Compared to other brands of mice where double-clicking allows you to turbo-mode, you won't find this with Logitech. I wouldn't buy again. This mouse is far from the gaming zone.
