When I got the X56, I was hesitant between it and the Thrustmaster Warthog. In the end, the X56 won because of its price (it is the second most expensive on the Czech market, but still half the price of the Thrustmaster). I've come to terms with the occasional throttle "catching up", after all, I change gears in combat simulators pretty constantly. As far as the "ghosting" goes, it used to annoy me, but I've kind of gotten used to the fact that I just occasionally get the landing gear alarm and have to pull it or double check my weapon system settings before going into an aerial fight. But what I have not accepted is the physical resistance, and especially the attitude of the alza!. After half a year of use, there should be no damage to the material, especially for a product of this price level (if it were a thousand dollar gas pack, I'd probably be okay with it). And if this happens (and it does, as I found on the Internet), the manufacturer (Logitech) or retailer (Alza) should face it and accept the claim.
looks hitech, especially built into the racing seat
works without any additional configuration even on Linux
enough buttons for modern fighter combat simulators
the throttle levers are pressed spontaneously (at the electronics level below the physical controls) - in the middle of a battle, for example, your chassis will eject, weapons will be dropped or radar will go off
the throttle had a tendency to "coast" to 100% at 90% and above, you couldn't fly with constant speed setting and had to constantly adjust
physical resistance - after half a year the handle of the throttle lever at the knuckle broke. The internet is full of photos of breakage at this point (obviously this is the problem of the used mateial), unfortunately, Alza repeatedly did not accept the claim with the reason "physical damage", which was the reason for the claim
RGB: )) Which you have trouble setting up, though: )
The buttons and levers on the throttle are pressed spontaneously. Really unusable. In the middle of a battle, your chassis might pop out and your guns will go off: /
Anti-ergonomic thing
Software from 2018. Incredibly slow. Almost nothing can be conveniently set up (Win 11).
The quality of the throttle and joystick itself is ok, but that's where it ends. All the levers, rotary sliders, and buttons will not center themselves. It looks cheap.
There's too much on the side of the throttle lever. One conveniently placed joystick would be better. So there is one joystick, two D-pads, 3 buttons and two rotary sliders. Neither can be used comfortably while operating the throttle.
Too big for my hands overall.
I expected it to be harder. The bases are big, but even on the "loosest" throttle setting, the lever rides on the table when you work it a bit. Nor any reasonable non-slip pads
For the price of over 5k, it's a really sad product
If you come across a piece with faulty sensors on the throttle, like I did, you're out of luck. Twice I have been denied a defect claim, where all 6 movement axes on the throttle often do not settle to rest, which then causes e.g. zoom twitching, spontaneous activation of selected keys and other switches. The service will not "find" these defects even if you provide videos of the defects and you can only go to court because Alza, despite their proclamations, is not interested in your satisfaction.
nice look
plenty of controls
several years of unupdated driver and setup software
high precision control, no unwanted movements (on the recommendation of reviews I connect it via active USB 3.0 HUB)
ergonomic design, fits perfectly in the hand and no problem to reach all controls
disconnectable motor lever to control each motor separately
high number of controls - within DCS I mapped everything I need on F18, many things only for effect and still have a lot of space left (it has 3 modes, it can't be filled)
favourable price considering the possibilities
good design
rgb backlight - can be beautifully matched with the interior of the aircraft on the monitor
as part of the delivery you get 4 springs with different stiffness on the knipel - I didn't use it, the first one is already installed is great
overall impression - excellent flying, only the Warthog from TM is better (relatively to the price)
you can set everything via software, but its ergonomics is tragic, fortunately most things are set in games, with DCS photoware does not need to be opened at all
Maybe a little bit of Logitech's control software is a bit clunky
