I bought the card as a replacement for an older PC for a 2070 Super. Consumption is low and the card is beautifully quiet even under load. In modern titles at 1080p, where DLSS and Ray Tracing can be used, the card performs well. However, the net performance is relatively worse compared to 2070 super mainly due to the half bus width and shuttering. At the current price of the 8500 which has skyrocketed by two grand, I think it's a bad buy and if you don't have to have Nvidia at all costs, I think you're better off going for the Radeon RX 9060 XT which is currently only 500 more.
I bought the card just before the price hike for 6450, which is a reasonable price for the performance you get.
Low consumption. Active cooling is quiet even under load.
The current price of 8500 is exorbitant and in my opinion it is better to get the cheapest Radeon RX 9060 XT, which can currently be bought for 9000.
