I was hesitant because I have a black cabinet with smoked glass. But when it's lit in the evening, it doesn't even look like a white board. You can't tell. PC looks great. For the new RYZENY 7 9800x3D this is a must. I swapped for a B650 Tomahawk board, but it ran fine with the old Ryzen 7 7800x3d, and all without problems. One little button in the BIOS CPU Boost sets the PBO quite well: -) no special tuning is needed. The new B850 boards have better optimization for the new CPU, for me a great satisfaction.

It certainly doesn't make sense to most people. It's a high-end board on a mainsteam chipset. I will never need USB4 in a gaming PC, I prefer M.2 slots that get more PCI lines. For those who don't build a white build, the Tomahawk is almost identically equipped, the only tangible difference being the nice diagnostic display that seconds the OS as the CPU's HW thermometer.
