I originally wanted a G Skill but couldn't find one with decent CL and EXPO support for a similar price. There were only the older Viper ones in the support board, so I took a chance with these as a novelty with a starting price under 6K. The first boot is long the board scans the HW and it takes a while the RAM LED is lit, but the next boot is already fine .
