The functionality of the machine is completely ruined by non-functioning attachments. With the hair attachment it is almost impossible to cut at all, to make it work you have to reduce the cut length to almost half the desired cut length - but then it cuts unevenly. You can't cut around the ears at all with the attachment. Ditto the beard attachment - unusable under the nose with the attachment. If the length of the cut was determined by the blade and not by the attachment, the usability of the machine would be greater. At least for the beard.
