The tripod is robust and of high quality. Price-Performance wise it's a great choice and in terms of compactness it's great too.
However, the problem is with stability at full height (despite the 2kg limit) and in the wind not so much (this is also related to the camera strap).
DSLRs (i.e. reflex cameras) are pretty much suicide because the mechanical movement of the mirror, although horribly small, really rocks the tripod. It's how much the balance relative to the lens matters.

Horizontal rotation is terribly rough and it is usually better to tighten it by rotating the whole tripod
