This was a shootout. I was buying for the casual onliners, but this card has lousy performance even for them. While it has higher averages than the RX 570, which is 3 generations older, the dips are much higher and it makes gaming very uncomfortable. 4GB of VRAM is of course not enough, but for it to be too little even for FullHD in Fortnite, that's something to think about. I don't know if it's AMD or Epic, probably both.
Of course, what's hipper is that AMD has bundled Last of Us with this card. The game is horribly poorly optimized and crashes even on low settings due to lack of VRAM. So even the BFU immediately knew this card was garbage.
The lack of more outputs is then hard to understand, because if the card doesn't have to play anymore, it could serve as a burned-in card for multiple monitors in a desktop. Which isn't really possible with two outputs.
Positive is the low power consumption and silence, where in the desktop it is cooled even passively. But that's the end of it.
So the card went away almost immediately and was replaced by the less than 1600 crowns more expensive RX 6600 with 8GB VRAM, which has no problems with VRAM or drops and offers practically double the performance for only 30W extra power consumption.
Therefore, I do not recommend the RX 6500 XT.
It' s not a very powerful card, but cool, new and quiet. I took it on time to normally save at 3080. The card is better than 580/4 but only a little
For the same price, it is a better choice than the GTX 1650
It handles an average of 80 fps in the forehand horizon 5
It is enough with a 400w power supply
4gb vram (if you don' t mind playing in 1080p in medium / higher detail, it doesn' t matter at all, but it can be a problem for future games)
On PCIe 3.0 the performance was poor, comparable to 1650, I had to buy a new board with pcie 4.0 so that the card was at least comparable to the performance of 1660
I've played Death Stranding for a while, Doom Eternal and it runs fine at ultra details around 60FPS. Good enough for me. Of course, until NVidia's RTX series is stably in stock.
