The disc is a good one, unfortunately it still has the cartridge that my previous disc of the same brand went on. It's the taper at the beginning of the power connector. The connector is literally pinched and only a very thin cable connects it. After a few years, it won't last and the drive's electronics will be wiped out. But the seemingly standard connector is different and unavailable, so you can't replace it. The whole adapter at first overpriced, then nesehnatelny, and so you still have to buy the disk, even if it survived. I recommend fixing the connector into something solid as soon as possible so that it cannot bend.

I've only had the drive for a short time, so I can't comment on its long-term reliability, but my initial experience has been excellent. It was recognised immediately after connecting and started working without any setup.
I was very pleased that it also works flawlessly via a USB hub. With another external drive, I had to use a direct connection to the computer's USB port because the computer wouldn't recognise it through the hub. There's no such problem with this drive.
So, for now, I'm completely satisfied. If it continues to work just as well in the long run, I'll be very happy with my choice.
