I very much appreciate the versatility of the product from grilling meat (it measures the thickness of the meat and adjusts the dish accordingly, so far it has always turned out well and the meat was cooked as I wanted), baking toast, tortillas and vegetables. I also bought a waffle grid separately. I appreciate the low maintenance, whatever I have done so far was easy to wash, nothing was burnt so there was no need to put in the dishwasher. It takes a little longer to preheat for programs where a high temperature is needed. The programs can be combined, so that you first do e.g. vegetables and then switch to meat.

Generally the best el. grill I've ever had. The only flaw you'll have to get used to is a bug in the controls. I already knew about it from reviews before I bought it, and you can live with it, you'll just knock yourself on the forehead every time who programmed it. Still, I definitely recommend it.
After a month of use: Clear advantages include the ability to measure the height of the meat and to estimate (relatively well) the degree of doneness. Another advantage is the baking dish, so everything I've been making in tinfoil, I throw right into the bowl and it often gets even better. Quite often I do things in it that I used to do in a frying pan. The programs for different foods seem fine so far too (I haven't tried them all yet). I will definitely reach for the grill far more often than I did with my old grill.
For one thing, the control panel programmers deserve to be stretched below the keel. If you finish one dish and want to switch to another or just make another portion, you're out of luck. It switches itself to manual mode (M) and there is no way to adjust the grill until it cools completely (turning it off/on doesn't help either). If you wanted to set the program at a lower temperature than the grill currently has, it would make sense. But if you want to set a higher temperature, that's absolute nonsense. Likewise, if you turn off the grill after reaching the expected doneness and after seasoning you think it could use a little more time, you don't even run the same program you had before. Oh, and beware, if you're impatient and try to place the food before it prompts you (because you kind of know it's going to beep anyway in a minute that it's ready), it also switches to manual mode (M) and you're out of luck again, you can't set it back.
I'll start by saying that I haven't found a downside to the grill in question. I've never had an electric grill before and honestly haven't even looked at anyone other than Tefal and I've been thrilled since my first use. From the first time I heated it, when I found it for me, very fast, through meat, tortillas, etc. When everything is exactly to my liking. The size of the grill is perfect for preparing a meal for 2 (maybe even 3 if you eat smaller portions). Definitely for a prefab just a very useful tool that can make up for the oven to some extent.
Quickly turns the grill and the preparation itself
I had an ordinary contact pot from tefal about 4 years old, it was great, but it was hard to wash and in general it was so bland. this one has a premium design, super features and compared to the ordinary is really top notch, I'm still curious about the baking
fast heating compared to the previous one
baking tin
automation really works
easy maintenance, really washes perfectly in the dishwasher compared to the previous one
quick preparation
drip tray at the back - great at last
Color book, nice, but useless. it was enough to give the first explanation and omit the recipes when there are only 4 or to work properly and give more recipes
pretty heavy, but he's secured his place on the line
I can recommend the tefal contact grill to anyone thinking about it. For many years, we lived with a grill of poor appearance, whose performance was not always optimal, especially for cooking large quantities of food. However, all that fell away the moment I pulled this machine out of the box, a sleek, visually very robust piece of kitchen technology that has never let me down, even in everyday use. Straight up? I can't remember when I've ever made anything on the stove other than a side dish. The only thing that bugs me a bit is that I didn't get one sooner. Yes, it's more expensive than others, but it's worth it.
This is the second Optigrill, my son took the first one when he moved out and asked me for it. I told myself I could do without it, but I only had two months and I went for it.
Universal
reliable
leveraged
easy to clean
easy operation
I'm still waiting for a model with a mobile app that will be able to make recipes online
I was very pleasantly surprised when I bought the grill. It worked reliably, heated up quickly and thanks to the automatic programs, it was easy to prepare meat and vegetables with excellent results - everything was juicy and evenly cooked. I also appreciate the ease of maintenance, as all removable parts are dishwasher safe, and I like the large grilling surface and clear progress indicator.
Unfortunately, after the first batch is finished, the selection of preset programs cannot be restarted and the grill automatically switches to manual mode, which is impractical. Shortly after the purchase, a defect appeared on the heating element, for which the grill had to be advertised.
The programs work perfectly, whether for grilling meat, vegetables or toasting. So far always timed perfectly. The baking dish is a big plus. Tilts well to any thickness. Very easy maintenance. So far I have nothing to complain about.

Next time I'd probably go for the XL size. Even for two people, sometimes a larger barbecue area would be useful.
Many programs
Food should not overheat - automatic shutdown
Dishwasher safe
Integrated drip trays for dripping grease
Variability 4 in 1
So far everything has been excellent: )
When stacked, it cannot stand upright to take up less space
