I have a lot of feelings about the camera. As an owner of several C200 and C230 cameras (where there was a noticeable difference in quality), I was not so impressed with the C260. The function of recognizing known / unknown people is not used What I praise very much is the design, which has moved towards a cosmic egg (or rather Faberge egg)
I like the privacy mode function, in which the lens goes into the camera and you don't have to think if someone is watching you even in private mode. I think it is only a SW problem and I wonder why all Tapo moving cameras can't do it. I was surprised and disappointed by the pronounced fisheye effect, which the C200 could correct. Even the C230 had a correction setting (called. distortion correction). But with the new version of Tapo, this setting has disappeared. Yet the C230 suffers from this effect significantly less, probably because of the lens. In conclusion, I would say that the exchange of the older c230 for the new c260 is worthwhile in case you catch the camera in action (now, for example, in the case of the new c260). 1499, - ) and you want to have the peace of mind of a quiet mode / use AI functions. For replacing older cameras (FHD / 2K...) you can easily skip the C230 if your budget allows it and go for the C260 - you will be satisfied.
