I got it to shave my beard to 3 mm. For years I had a sort of Philips on flashlights and had to cross each place several times and in different directions. I thought that was normal. I used this for the first time today and found that it shaves the beard on the first swipe. It's really strong and shaves perfectly. A man is shaved in a moment. I deliberately chose the corded option because it's stronger than cordless and because the battery will eventually die anyway, which is what happened to me with the philips. And half the price of the flashlight version was a nice bonus. I tried shaving it completely short, and it doesn't give less than 0.5 mm. That's why I will continue to use the One blade for short shaves for now. I write "for now" because it does shave nicely short, but it's quite uncomfortable to shave 2-day stubble with it, so I'll get another razor for that eventually. Probably some kind of milling machine. I think the combination of a neck smoothing cutter and this Whal machine would be ideal.
