In a partially darkened room can be comfortably observed during the day. When used without power, the battery life is really about 2 hours, when manually switched to normal mode of luminosity (when disconnecting the cable it automatically switches to a weaker light) the battery life is up to 1 hour. I'm more comfortable if I turn off the automatic image adjustment so that the image doesn't adjust every time I move the projector.
