I changed for Xiaomi MI9T. Personally, I don't appreciate the 256GB storage size. Otherwise, more or less nothing much forward in those 5 years at the same price level. The Note 12 comes with a 120W charging adapter - it's big and heavy as a brick. But it goes from 20% to 100% in 30 minutes - which is a blast! Battery life compared to the MI9T is also a huge +. 1 day (MI9T) x 3 days (Note12).
The front camera recognizes the face even through the glass - I was worried about this - experience with SAM A52 - with glass completely useless. The MI9T had a slide-out front camera - so no problems there -resp. it was even better than the Note 12 in the dark.
So from my point of view for the money pretty good, hopefully it will last the same time as MI9 (4,5 years).
